…we didn’t want to limit ourselves to the sleeping function. It is not enough to make just a beautiful interior, it should be interesting and from a technical point of view, be a bit transformer and include additional, not the most obvious functions

In front of the bed we placed a furniture structure, which includes a TV set and a bureau with a folding front, behind which you can sit comfortably to work: sort out papers, work with a laptop.

On the adjacent wall, we placed a line of cabinets, laconic in design, but functional inside: there is an organizer for storing accessories, and lights, and bars for ordinary things, and for elongated, and sliding shelves for shoes

For all the technological complexity of the project – the abundance of furniture, appliances, bathroom equipment – the finishing is simple and ascetic. The tones of the materials are chosen in such a way that they all look monochromatic

So it happened in this project: the heroes of Remodeling planned two children's rooms, but were stumped in the planning of their own bedroom. On the one hand there was a large double-floor space with which it was not completely clear what to do, on the other hand they wanted to have a bathroom, to arrange the stairs to the first floor and to the attic, to make a pantry, etc., but all this did not fit.

We proposed a layout of the entire second floor that solved these issues: moved the stairs, used the bay window area for the bathroom, slightly reduced the children's room so that we could locate the second bathroom and a general dressing room, and get a spacious hallway.

In the case of this project, we didn't want to limit ourselves to the sleeping function. It is not enough to make just a beautiful interior, it should be interesting and from a technical point of view, be a bit transformer and include additional, not the most obvious functions. Opposite the bed we have placed a furniture structure which includes a TV set and a bureau with a hinged front, behind which you can comfortably sit to work: sorting out papers or working with a laptop. On the next wall we installed a line of cabinets, laconic in design, but functional inside: there is an organizer for storing accessories, lights, bars for both regular and elongated items, sliding shelves for shoes and a mezzanine for storing boxes. The closet fronts are continued by a hidden door leading into the bathroom. The door mechanism is unusual in that it has an offset center of rotation. Thus it was possible to make the canvas wider than there was room for it.

Inside the bathroom we placed a basin opposite the window with the axial composition in front of the door. This is a very effective planning technique that always works. The catwalk, where the font is located, was necessary on the one hand, as the drainage system for the basin and bathtub itself is placed under it, but on the other hand, it emphasizes and highlights the font inside the room.

For all the technological complexity of the project - the abundance of furniture, appliances, bathroom equipment - the finishing is simple and ascetic. The tonality of the materials is chosen so that they all look monochromatic. In the interior it is not the color that determines the material, but its texture and tactile perception. Surfaces of the walls and ceiling are covered with decorative plaster, which has a very thin but very nice texture, which visually most of all resembles kraft paper, and tactilely is like the silky texture of natural stone. Another expressive material is the floor covering - engineered board made of natural oak, with knots, evident veins and cracks in places.

The final detail that gathers the interior around itself and at first glance attracts attention is a single spot of color - a painting specially painted for this project.
